The brisket grilled cheese sandwich was the special - ‘Nuff said. Perfection! Super friendly & fast service too, will be back soon!
We went for Mothers Day and I myself had the load potatoes with sausage green peppers and onions. Because you get to choose 2 vegetables and the meat. They were Amazing very good. The service was as expected it was a Holiday and there were lots of other folks taking their grandma, mom, or wife to eat. The customer service was good.
Service was spectacular. The waitresswas super nice and the perfect amount of attention! I had the brisket melt, it was ok, but really greasy, there was a lot of oil/grease on the plate after. The flavor was good, there was a good bit of meat. A person at another table had a burger and it looked awesome, so next time that will be the meal of choice! Definitely be back and will provide a burger review!
This place was recommended to me by a friend, or I would of never stopped here. I am so glad she told me about it. Everything was delicious. Their meats are smoked and absolutely Devine! My Cobb salad was huge, and bread that came with it was incredible! Hubby had the blue cheese burger, it was 1/2 pound, he made it into a two meal deal. Can’t wait to return and try more things.
The burgers were great, served quickly even though it was pretty busy. Great atmosphere, mostly because of the fantastic live music! Way to go, Nate!
Stop by for brunch I'd never been here before, the service was friendly and helpful the food was delicious and the prices are fair, its a older place with lots of history but its kept up really good its clean with a restaurant on one side and a bar on the other, I'm glad we stopped here its worth coming to again.
Tucked off of 30, Colvin’s is a great stop for anyone headed to or from the coast. Their specialty is their smoked meats -we are partial to the brisket in all its forms. Hearty with good sized portions, you get a bang for your buck. A burger and dessert runs $15...and boy, is that dessert delicious. The PB Chocolate Cheesecake is smooth, creamy, light and hard to stop eating, but the nut crust is what makes it the best. Plenty of parking around on a Friday night, super friendly server, quick service, and connected to the bar next door. Come with family or friends.
Kinda dated atmosphere, but the kind and speedy treatment made the meals medium range price, worth every penny spent.
I'm on SSI, but I'll keep a piggy bank for my next trip here. Oh! BTW, It doesn't hurt that they are sandwiched between 2 thrift stores. It's in old town Clatskanie, so a lot of second hand and craft shops. If you're coming in from the coast, give it a go?
